Last month, we referenced the importance of the Executive setting clear strategic imperatives as the driver of Digital Transformation. This approach is essential for the company to realize true achievements in digitization, and not succumb to a bottom-up approach full of technical specs and schedules.
For the past 3+ years, VCI has been working closely with DCP Midstream on their Digital Transformation. Many of you were invited about a year ago to tune-in to CEO, Wouter van Kempen’s mid-term earnings report. At that time, DCP was already more than a year into their Digital Transformation and already seeing a return on their investment.
This month, DCP Midstream and their Chief Transformation Officer, Bill Johnson, are featured in the article Digital Transformation Strategy Advances in Oil and Gas (Brian Buntz, IoT World Today, 12 July 2019).
We’re pleased with DCP’s achievements over the past few years and enthusiastic about sharing their recognition.
